CMA CGM coaches students at Tulane
For the second year in a row, CMA CGM America coached Tulane University maritime law students in a mock negotiation. Robert Corvin, Manager of Cargo Claims and Risk Management, and Kristi Thompson, Senior Counsel, provided their expertise to Professor Ray Waid's classroom at Tulane University.

The students had to be prepared for back-to-back rounds of negotiation in which teams of two students from each side (shipper and carrier) faced each other in three successive rounds of debate. The topics touched on U.S. legal limits of liability, deviations, and lien & salvage rights.

CMA CGM Leadership Teaching Tulane

"Tulane really appreciates the time and effort Robert, Kristi, and CMA CGM invested in this training exercise," exclaimed Professor Waid. "Contributions like this one demonstrate real leadership in the maritime industry."
